Ashleigh Rousseaux has a background in science and experience in bereavement services, supporting families who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth or the death of a baby or child. She became involved in the bereavement space following her own experience of the full-term stillbirth of her son in 2014. She has actively participated in the bereavement community through peer support programs since 2016.
Ashleigh’s work in the bereavement space began in 2018 as the State Manager for Sands. She now works as the Manager of Community Engagement for Queensland at Red Nose, working on local, state-wide and national projects. Her work in community engagement involves creating and facilitating meaningful opportunities for connection, remembrance and reflection for bereaved parents and their families.
Ashleigh has been involved in several Stillbirth CRE projects and was a member of the Safer Baby Bundle implementation steering committee.
