Participate in Research

The Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth (Stillbirth CRE) is involved in a wide range of research projects every year.  There are opportunities for families who have experienced stillbirth, pregnant women, maternity health workers, PhD students, researchers and others to become involved in many of these projects.

Opportunities to be involved in our research projects will be communicated through our networks as they arise, if you would like to be contacted, please sign up to our email list below or contact us via email stillbirthcre@mater.uq.edu.au.

We invite anyone who has been impacted by stillbirth to join our Research Involvement Registry.

Every research project will be governed by its own ethics and research requirements, depending on the nature of the research. By taking part in research projects, you can join us in better understanding the causes of stillbirth, helping prevent future stillbirths and improve care after stillbirth for others.

Researchers and Students

The Stillbirth CRE is committed to building a workforce of research leaders in the areas of stillbirth prevention and care after stillbirth. The Stillbirth CRE welcomes collaborations with individuals and organisation through participation on a research team, subcommittees, working or advisory groups.

Collaborate with Us

We welcome collaboration with those researchers and organisations who are committed to the overarching objectives and values of the Stillbirth CRE. Our Shared Understanding for Collaboration outlines how we work together. Please feel free to get in touch by emailing stillbirthcre@mater.uq.edu.au to discuss how we can collaborate.

Donate

By donating to the Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth through our partner organisation, Stillbirth Foundation Australia, you will help support the efforts to reduce stillbirth rates as well as provide support for bereaved families.

Stillbirth Foundation Australia is recognised nationally as a leading voice on stillbirth and represents the voices of thousands of Australian families who have been touched by stillbirth.
