Ms Sarah Jade Matheson

Bereaved Parent

Sarah is a mother to 4 children (3 living) her son Aksel was stillborn after severe brain injury and complications at 33+2 weeks back in 2018.
Feeling lost and looking for connection to those who understand and have walked in the same shoes, she started writing, podcasting and created social local gatherings at the time.
As a bereaved mother, bereavement care is at the forefront of her advocacy to have those who are walking through the depths of grief not feel alone and that they have all the tools and support to be able to feel less alone and know they did everything.
