Ms Jacqui Freeman

Research Midwife in Migrant and Refugee Health

Jacqui Freeman is a Clinical Midwife at Mater Mothers Hospital, managing Refugee and Asylum seekers pregnancy care and health. Jacqui is passionate about developing resources that assist families of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to be empowered in understanding and managing their own health care, and that of their families. Beyond her role at Mater Mothers Hospital, Jacqui works at the Stillbirth CRE one day a week using her professional knowledge to contribute to the IMPROVE program update, specifically focusing on migrant and refugee cultural awareness.
