Mu Cheng has a research background in the field of analytic biochemistry. She completed her PhD through the University of Queensland in 2015. Prior to joining the Stillbirth CRE team she worked as a project advisor. Dr Cheng joined the CRE team in 2019 as a research assistant and is currently working on Data to Drive Change Program. She has a strong focus on data analysis and the development of evidence-based stillbirth investigation approaches working on multiple projects including the My Baby’s Movements Multi Centre Clinical Trial, the ANZSA Research Consortium for the investigation of stillbirths, classification system for causes of perinatal deaths. Dr Cheng is mainly responsible for assisting with project coordination and data management.
