The majority of stillbirths occur in the preterm period. This study uses population-based perinatal data in Victoria to examine the causes of and identify risk factors specific to preterm perinatal death and adverse preterm pregnancy outcomes across gestational groups to guide future stillbirth and preterm birth prevention approaches.
