Professor Sailesh Kumar

Professor Kumar is a Maternal and Fetal Medicine Sub-specialist at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital in Brisbane and Head of the Academic Discipline of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Queensland. He leads an active research group collaborating across specialities both in basic science as well as clinical projects. Professor Kumar is also Visiting Professor at the Imperial College in London and is actively involved in both clinical practice and research.
