Ms Jules Mallia

Bereaved Parent

I have birthed 3 beautiful babies. After an early miscarriage, I went on to have an uncomplicated pregnancy and healthy birth of my son Xavier (6). In January 2021, I was blindsided by a devastating fetal diagnosis at 20-weeks, which resulted in a termination for medical reasons (TFMR) at nearly 23-weeks. After genetic testing and ongoing bereavement care through Red Nose, I gave birth to another healthy baby boy (15months). I’ve chosen to honour Willow’s memory and my perinatal experiences through advocacy, and by sharing my story. Contributing to awareness campaigns and volunteer initiatives through Red Nose, local health service education and reviews, and through Stillbirth CRE, is my way of extending the love I have for Willow in meaningful ways.
