Ida Stevia Diget is a postdoctoral researcher in the Care Around Stillbirth and Neonatal Death (CASaND) program at the Stillbirth CRE. She holds a master’s degree in Linguistics and a PhD in public health communication, graduating in 2023. Her PhD explored accessible and easily translated public health communication strategies. Alongside her PhD, she worked on the PacMOSSI project, assisting in strategic planning for the control of dengue fever in the Pacific Islands.

A key part of her role is to coordinate mixed-methods studies, drawing on her background in qualitative and mixed-methods research. Ida is currently working on a range of projects, including the enhancement and expansion of the IMPROVE education program; the global collaboration to explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on parent experiences of maternity and bereavement care (COCOON); evaluating care in subsequent pregnancies to meet the needs of parents; and development of resources for parents who experience early pregnancy loss and subsequent pregnancies.
