Ms Hannah Fitzpatrick

Bereaved Parent

Hannah is mum to Billie who is three and Olive who was born at 22 weeks due to PPROM in 2023. She is a midwife and works in the birth unit at a hospital in Sydney. Since becoming a bereaved mum she has developed further interest in good quality bereavement care and recognises that research that engages the people it serves is integral here. Hannah honours Olive with her project ‘Olive & kin’ which provides custom ceramic urns free of charge to families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. Hannah is also particularly interested in improving education around good quality bereavement care within her unit at work.
