A co-designed national care pathway is currently under development to ensure best practice care after perinatal loss is provided across the continuum of care and different settings. Based on the best available evidence, we will co-design and evaluate a Perinatal Loss Care Pathway intervention package to support best practice in Australian maternity settings and meet new national Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health (ACSQHC) Clinical Standards on Stillbirth, and update to the Stillbirth CRE & PSANZ CASaND Guideline. The overarching aim is to improve parent outcomes by facilitating consistent, safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care across Australia.
