In this study we will develop and pilot a novel solution to assembly of a pregnancy cohort that will utilise a digital platform, Pregnancies Like Mine, and focus upon the community and their health needs. Pregnant women who opt in to the platform will enrol and contribute data that will provide feedback on their pregnancy characteristics compared with others. Through this technology, women will have the opportunity to volunteer to participate in epidemiological and biomarker studies. This will allow us to develop a robust, large-scale dataset with detailed information on the critical antecedents of late miscarriage and early pregnancy loss that are typically missing from existing sources (e.g. timing and frequency of antenatal care, fetal movement monitoring, socio-demographics, awareness of stillbirth risks, etc.). This will enable the timelier assembly of cohorts of women that will facilitate new insights into risk factors for stillbirth.
