This project aims to explore and establish best practice research methods for perinatal loss research. Through a collaborative approach, we will co-develop principles that guide the conduct of research in this area including how to design and conduct qualitative (e.g. interviews, focus groups) and quantitative research (e.g. online surveys) including experimental research (e.g. randomised controlled trials). Ethical considerations including risk management protocols will also be addressed. This project seeks to create a comprehensive framework that enhances the quality and impact of perinatal loss research and ensures the voices of bereaved families are central.
