Ms Cherie Martin

Clinical Midwife; Research Midwife

Cherie Martin completed her Bachelor of Midwifery in 2018 and currently works as a Clinical Midwife in the Perinatal Loss Team at the Mater Mothers Hospital and views her role as a privilege. She is deeply passionate about the standard of care families receive during perinatal loss and is currently studying her Diploma of Counselling to better support families.  In 2024, Cherie joined the Stillbirth CRE to contribute her clinical skills and experience to the ongoing work in bereavement care. Additionally, she helps coordinate the national IMPROVE program, which addresses and supports the needs of clinicians during and around the time of stillbirth and neonatal death.
